Bajatey Raho is a 2013 Hindi comedy-thriller film directed by Shashant Shah and produced by Sunil A Lulla. The film features Tusshar Kapoor,Vinay Pathak and Dolly Ahluwalia as main characters. This is director Shashant Shah's third film, after Dasvidaniya (2008) and Chalo Dilli (2011), both of which starred actor Vinay Pathak as lead.

Story
Ravi Kishan (Sabharwal) despoil an honest bank manager, Mr Baweja, by implicating him for beguiling the investors of Bank for Rs. 15 crores. Baweja dies of an heart attack and the family members led by Dolly Ahluwalia(Mummy ji), Tusshar, Ranvir and Vinay resolve to avenge him. Stuffed in between is an off-beat romance angle between Tusshar and Vishakha. The team thus anointed sets out in its task to dupe Sabharwal of his ill-gotten wealth and give him a taste of his own medicine.

Performance
Easily, Ranvir Shorey as Ballu and Brijendra Kala as Bagga, stand out among this ensemble cast of competent actors. Be it their dialogues or the zeal with which they react in every situation, both turn out be the saving grance for this otherwise dud caper. I could not help but wonder about Vinay Pathak's trivial role. What a waste of a gem!!

Paisa Vasool Moments:Tu meri Maata and Nagin Dance song; Initial ten minutes when the Ranvir and Tusshar dupe a school principal; SMS jokes recited by Bagga

Paisa in Dhool Moments:Overly drawn sentimental situations; Love angle between Tusshar and Vishakha; A fizzled out climax

Summary
Shashant Singh's third offering as a director doesn't leave a good impression over you. Such a threadbare plot required a meticulous attention as shown earlier by him in Dasvidaniya. Also, lack of genuine belly laughs even in the situations easily expected by a layman spoils the taste. Give it a Miss.
